Gail Rodkin-Chairperson
Gail has been a member of Temple Menorah for 20+ years. Her son attended Tuvia and was Bar Mitzvahed at the Temple. She is chair of the ASTOC. She also has served on the Temple board and is part of the Chesed Caring Community. She is also a docent at the LA Zoo and serves on the South Bay Catholic Jewish Women's Committee.
Leslie Heimov-Co-chair
Leslie Starr Heimov, a Temple Menorah member since 1998, has been an active member of the Social Action Committee since its inception. The Heimov Parisse family enjoys many aspects of temple life including being part of Chavareem Chavurah. Her children, Jake and Amanda, became Bnai Mitzvah at Temple Menorah and Amanda was confirmed in June 2014. Leslie is the Executive Director of the Children's Law Center of California. She enjoys theater, travel, yoga and hiking and is always up for a new adventure!
Joe Porzucki - Michael Mitzvah Month Co-Founder
Elaine Porzucki- Michael Mitzvah Month Co-Founder & Chair
Joe and Elaine have been members of Temple Menorah for over 20 years and have seen all their three children go through the Bar Mitzvah and confirmation process at the Temple. Elaine is a social worker specializing in Gerontology. Joe is a semi retired electrical engineer specializing in Satellites and Launch Vehicles. Social action for the community and Israel is on top of their agenda. They enjoy going to see international movies, gardening, and (for Joe) computer programming and tinkering. They have been active members in Temple Menorah volunteering at sisterhood, and the Board of Trustees.
Ben Kae
Ben and Ellen Kae have been members of Temple Menorah for over twenty years. Their children Tyler and Miriam became Bnai Mitzvah here. Ben has been an active member of the TOSAC committee since its inception, and currently is the Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator
